How to compare two clinic quotes in Korea
Two quotations can show the same procedure name while covering different work. A useful comparison puts the service specification beside the amount and makes every unanswered question visible. This approach works for a dental plan, an eye examination or a skin-treatment inquiry without treating different procedures as interchangeable.
In this guide
Make the specification the first column

Write down the exact procedure, the treated area and the unit used in each quotation. Keep product names, materials and session counts intact. If one quote describes a package and the other describes one visit, mark the mismatch before comparing the totals. Do not divide a course price into a per-visit amount unless the clinic confirms that the scope is equal at every visit.
Ask what is inside the quoted amount
Request separate answers for consultation, tests, anaesthesia, treatment materials, medication and planned follow-up. A price table can say materials are included without naming every material. Preserve that level of detail instead of changing it into a broader all-inclusive claim. A blank field is an unanswered question, not a free service.
Check who qualifies and for how long
An event amount can depend on a first visit, a weekday time window, a specific branch or a named clinician. Record the offer deadline separately from the proposed appointment date. Ask whether the published conditions apply to your situation and whether the written quote remains valid if your visit moves.
Keep the decision separate from the price search
A cheaper listed amount cannot establish which treatment fits your case. Use your comparison sheet to make a more precise inquiry, then let the treating clinician assess the proposed service. In the catalogue, save the exact branch details that need checking rather than sending a vague request to every clinic in a city.

Build a like-for-like comparison before comparing the total
Create a separate line for the main service, examination, medication, anaesthesia, materials and review. Then copy the exact quantity beside the main service: a session count, a named product volume, a number of teeth or an eye-specific scope. Leave a question mark where a quote is silent. A lower headline price may reflect a different product, a smaller treatment area or fewer stages; it may also be a valid lower price. The documents need to establish which explanation applies.
Consider an implant enquiry without assuming any particular price: one quote might name the fixture only, while another includes a fixture, abutment and final crown. They are not yet equivalent totals. A skin package can create a similar problem when one clinic lists device shots and another lists visits. Do not divide a bundle into artificial per-session prices unless its components and cancellation rules make that calculation meaningful.
Keep written changes attached to the original quotation
If the clinician changes the plan after examination, request a revised item list showing what was removed and added. Record whether a displayed discount is tied to a date, a first visit, a payment method or another condition. Confirm the currency and tax wording rather than relying on a converted price in a message. Preserve the original quote as a reference, but identify the revised version clearly so that two different treatment plans are not mixed.
Use published prices on KoreaClinicGo to identify questions for comparison. A menu item records what an official source published at a particular check date; it does not establish that the same option is appropriate or available for you. When no official price appears, you can still browse the clinic information. Missing price data should lead to a focused enquiry, not a guessed market rate.
