mL, units, shots, teeth and eyes: understanding Korean clinic price units

A price comparison can be misleading even when every amount was copied correctly. The missing detail is often the unit: one session, one tooth, one eye or a named quantity of a product. Keep the published basis attached to the number throughout your search and inquiry.

In this guide
  1. Injections: keep the product and quantity together
  2. Devices: record the treatment specification
  3. Dental and eye care: check the side or structure
  4. Write a specification-led inquiry
  5. Match the unit to the thing being supplied
  6. Preserve alternatives and bundles without rewriting them

Record the full product name and the stated mL or units. Similar brand labels can describe different formulations, and a quantity in mL should not be converted into an active-ingredient dose without information from the clinic. A multi-session course does not establish the quantity delivered at each visit unless the source says so.

Devices: record the treatment specification

For a device menu, keep the named device, area, shots, energy or time exactly as the source presents them. Do not turn an unclear label into a guessed measurement. Two services with the same shot count can still concern different devices, areas or protocols; the clinical team needs to explain whether they are comparable.

Dental and eye care: check the side or structure

A dental amount may be per tooth, surface, arch or appliance. An eye-care amount may be for one eye, both eyes, a test or a lens material. Those units cannot be merged into a single cheapest-price list. If an item is only one component of a larger plan, label the component rather than calling it the complete treatment.

Write a specification-led inquiry

A useful message names the exact row and asks what quantity, scope and visit count the amount covers. Add your preferred region so that the question stays with the right branch. The catalogue helps you find relevant institutions; a clear specification helps the clinic answer a question about a real option.

Match the unit to the thing being supplied

A volume such as mL describes an amount of material; it does not identify the concentration, product or number of treatment areas on its own. A device shot count is different from a treatment duration. A toxin unit count needs the named product and area context; it should not be treated as interchangeable across all products. Dental and eye quotations may use a per-tooth or per-eye scope that changes the meaning of the total.

A session count is another independent dimension. A package of several visits does not automatically multiply the product quantity shown beside it. Read whether that quantity applies to each session or to the package as a whole. If the wording leaves that ambiguous, ask for clarification instead of choosing the interpretation that produces the lowest unit price.

Preserve alternatives and bundles without rewriting them

The word “or” means a choice unless the source states otherwise. A menu offering one of several areas is not a bundle covering all of them. A plus sign may identify combined components, but their individual quantities still matter. Keep each named product with its own quantity, and avoid adding different products into a single volume that the clinic never advertised.

An effective comparison note contains the product or device, area, quantity, sessions and any option conditions in separate fields. The category helps you find similar information in the catalogue; it does not prove that two differently worded services are clinically equivalent. Ask the treating clinician about appropriate scope before comparing an artificial per-mL or per-shot bargain.
